This course continues the study of fundamental accounting concepts; however, it involves the students in the world of accounting as opposed to the record keeping function. The course includes the study of: Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Conceptual Framework, the corporate form as the business entity, preparation of the Statement of Cash Flows, financial statement analysis, introduction to cost accounting, responsibility accounting, cost volume profit analysis and budgeting.
