This course covers the study of the aquaponics cylce and how it can be adapted to different growing conditions. It includes the application of indoor, controlled climate systems to achieve optimal production results. Emphasis is given to the 3 living organisms that make up an aquaponics system: plants, aquatic organisms, and bacteria. Students will utilize existing aquaponics systems to grow crops and fish throughout the course.
