Information Technology Hardware/Software lays a foundation of the basic information required to assemble a computer and troubleshoot problems that occcur. Students will learn how to properly install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair PC hardware and software. The course will help prepare the student to become a computer service technician and puruse a future career in IT technology or simply be equipped with knowledge of how a computer works. GRADE REQUIREMENT: A MINIMUM OF C OR EQUIVALENT INDUSTRY CERTIFICATION MSUT BE EARNED IN THIS COURSE TO BE ELIBIBLE TO GRADUATE FROM THE COMPUTER SCIENCE PROGRAM OR PROGRESS
