This course will cover the operation and installation of data communication cabling systems. Students will be introduced to telephone and video system operation and cable installation. In addition, an introduction to networking is given with special emphasis on cabling and fiber optics. This course is designed to prepare the industrial electrician for the ever-increasing demand for installation of cabling systems in residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
