Intoduces the fields of Medical Mycology and Medical Parasitology. This course will emphasize and cover speciment processing and diagnostic procedures of medically significant pathogens. Identifies characteristics, life cycles, pathogenicity, and diagnostic testing for medically significant parasites. GRADE REQUIREMENT: A minimum grade of C is required to pass this course and meet program requirements.
