Description
This course is an introduction to radiology science, patient care skills, and the ethical and legal responsibilities appropriate to the radiographer's scope of practice. Students will demonstrate skills in professional communication, monitoring, protection, and physical care for the patient while in the radiology department. Pharmaceuticals, radiopharmaceuticals, IVs, and contrast reactions will also be covered.
