Description

This course is designed to develop a foundation and foster an understanding of radiographic equipment, quality, and technique. Basic physical principles will be introduced and expanded upon in the areas of measurement, energy, atomic structure, electricity, magnetism, and how they are applied to the production of radiation. Basic essentials of radiographic exposure formulation, manipulation of techniques, and how to adjust technical factors to maintain quality due to different patient conditions will be discussed.
