This class will provide the graduating student skills to prepare them for management, supervisor, and foreman positions in the welding industry. This will be accomplished by taking a critical look at the economics behind successful weld production and manufacturing. Topics covered during theory will be, but not limited to, expenditures, productivity, AWS code, research and development, team building, specialized welding processes, and industry trends. Skills training in the lab will be based on the industry that the student has chosen as a career path and, when applicable, the student will work with standards set by a future
