This course provides a comprehensive introduction to 2D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) utilizing the latest version of AutoCAD. Students will gain proficiency in both foundational and advanced CAD skills essential for the architecture and engineering design industries. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on experience with drawing, modifying, and managing CAD files. Students will explore advanced topics including Layer management, Block creation, Annotation standards, X-Referencing, and the development of professional-quality documents. Emphasis will be placed on industry-relevant applications and techniques to prepare students for real-world design challenges.
