This course explains the different types of building materials, fasteners, adhesives, and tools used by carpenters in the construction industry. It will also cover reading plans and elevations to understand construction designs, building floor systems for residential and commerical properties, constructing wall and ceiling framing systems, and understanding the methodologies of roof framing. This course provides an introduction to finish carpentry and exteriors such as roofing, siding, and window installation.
