Lesson Planning and Instruction is intended for faculty who are working toward their first post-secondary credential in accordance with the SD Postsecondary Technical College Instructor Credential Policy. This course introduces faculty to student-centered learning methods, lesson planning, and assessment tools. Students will develop a course syllabus to use as a communication tool, create a lesson plan that accommodates a variety of learning styles, and research various assessment tools to measure student learning.
