Description
The WDTC Basic Law Enforcement Training course is 560 hours of instruction designed to prepare students for 21st century law enforcement. Coursework is physically demanding, cognitively challenging, and conducted under the instruction and supervision of credentialed professionals with industry experience. The Basic Law Enforcement Training course will meet or exceed all standards established by the State of South Dakota Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Training Commission to ready students for entry-level law enforcement careers upon graduation. At the end of this course, students will take the South Dakota Law Enforcement Reciprocity Exam offered by the South Dakota Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Training Commission.
