Medical Assisting II Lab and Clinical (MA 253)

This course provides medical assisting students the opportunity to apply their clinical skills and knowledge in the clinical setting after completion of lab hours. Students are placed in medical facilities of Rapid City and surrounding areas to gain hands-on experience in the clinical skills required of an entry-level medical assistant. Students are under the supervision of the facility and are periodically evaluated by the preceptor.
