Description

Advanced level of coding focusing on surgical procedural coding. Utilization and coding of templates is reviewed. Diagnostic Related Groups (DRG’s) in the inpatient hospital setting are analyzed. Surgical instrumentation and operating room processes and coding are evaluated in more depth. The importance of utilizing coding resources is emphasized and utilized for a broader view of the coding arena.
