This course focuses on developing practical nursing skills required to safely and effectively care for individuals in various healthcare settings. Students will incorporate the nursing process and theoretical concepts while achieving these skills. PREREQUISITES: CURRENT CNA CERTIFICATION OR A "C" OR BETTER IN HC124 AND HC126 AND COMPLETION OF ALL GENERAL EDUCATION COURSES. CO-REQUISITE: NRS105. GRADE REQUIREMENT: A MINIMUM GRADE OF "C" MUST BE EARNED IN THIS COURSE TO BE ELIGIBLE TO GRADUATE FROM THE NURSING PROGRAM OR PROGRESS INTO COURSES THAT REQUIRE THIS COURSE AS A PREREQUISITE.
