Description
Maternal/Child Nursing focuses on the nursing needs of individuals as they relate to childbearing and children. Students will utilize clinical judgement skills through the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement to implement preventative, supportive, and therapeutic plans of care. There is an emphasis on the physiological, cultural, and growth and developmental needs of the clients. There is a clinical component to this course.
