Description
This course provides a foundational understanding of digital imaging in radiologic technology and advanced imaging. Terminology, key concepts, and quality components related to digital imaging acquisition, display, and archiving, including Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) will be covered. This course also addresses technical factor adjustments, fundamentals of fluoroscopy and surgical imaging equipment, and introduces advanced imaging modalities.
