Description
This course provides basic information about the Computed Tomography modality. The concepts covered include basic components, operations, and processes. Radiation protection and image quality will also be a focus. Sectional anatomy will be discussed. The area of focus will be the brain, chest, abdomen, and pelvis. Basic anatomy of the vertebral column, upper extremity, and lower extremity will be covered. Types of exams will be discussed throughout the course.
