Description
Thermal Cutting Applications theory and skills training will allow students to attain an acceptable level of cutting skills utilizing a variety of different processes utilized by the Welding and Fabrication industry. This course is the study of cutting ferrous metals with oxygen and acetylene gases, Plasma Arc Cutting, and Carbon Arc Cutting. Students will learn the proper setup, shut down, and safety associated with these processes. Shop work will cover manual cutting and, semi-automated cutting.
